Autumn Show 7th September 2 - 4pm Village Hall.
See the schedule for entry classes and entry form. We would love to see the tables full of your plants, vegetables, home produce and photography. Don't forget entries must be submitted to Maggie or Hilary by 7pm on Thursday 5th September.

Gardens of the Lake District - Eric Swidenbank
Our Vice-Chairman will be taking us around gardens he has visited in the Lake District. Join us for what promises to be a beautiful visual tour in a spectacular part of England.

Wisley Flower Show 3rd - 5th September
The annual show has plants for sale, displays to admire together with
the National Dahlia Society who hold their inspirational Annual Show in the marquee. Why not visit the gardens and enjoy the Show?

Painshill Garden Restoration - Michelle Howes
Painshill Garden was created between 1738 and 1770 by Charles Hamilton as a living painting. It contains a Serpentine Lake and numerous follies such as a “Turkish Tent”, “Gothic Tower” and a “Crystal Grotto” for views around the lake. Michelle will talk on the garden‘s recent restoration and its history. Painshill Garden is listed Grade 1.

Agatha Christie's Plots: Gardens in her Life and Writing
Our speaker is Esme Miskimmin, a Senior Lecturer at Liverpool University, who apart from her academic teaching enjoys her allotment and researching crime fiction.

The Great Milford Bake Off
Have you every thought of entering in the Home Produce section of our Flower Shows but been unsure how to get those perfect bakes? Our speaker, Sally Grammel, will guide us through choosing a recipe, looking to see if the ingredients will work and how much should you make. She will tell us what makes a tasty item and how different products can make that all important tasty treat. She will also cover presentation and the storage of your items before the show.
